The design team at Northern was tasked with creating a series of campaign landing pages for Rexall to support a range of pharmacy services and marketing initiatives. I played a dual role on these projects—contributing hands-on to the design work while also mentoring designers and providing creative direction to ensure a cohesive, high-quality final product.
One of the key challenges we identified was the lack of UI consistency across Rexall's website. Rather than treating each landing page as a standalone project, we used the opportunity to establish a more scalable design system. We created a collection of reusable UI components that could be adapted and styled to suit different campaigns while maintaining a consistent user experience. This approach not only improved visual consistency across the site but also laid the foundation for a shared component library that streamlined collaboration between both the design and development teams.
Beyond design execution, I played a key leadership role throughout the lifecycle of these projects. I worked closely with project managers and developers to ensure designs were implemented accurately and delivered on schedule. My responsibilities included mentoring designers, managing internal timelines, conducting design reviews, and leading quality assurance before launch. This cross-functional collaboration helped ensure each campaign was delivered successfully while maintaining a high standard of design quality and consistency.
Ultimately, these projects were the result of a strong team effort, where designers, developers, and project managers worked closely together to bring each campaign to life and deliver the best possible experience for Rexall's customers.
